Starting soon the cna's will soon have numbers on there badge from 1 to 4 and that number tells what level you are at as a cna and that depends on the evaluation you have, and the 1 being the lowest and the four being the highest and the idea behind this is to bring everyone to strive to be the best and to want to become a level ''4'', to me this is spelling out trouble in this place that i work as i can see already and everyone is getting in the mail the levels they are through a letter. Give me your true opinion and if you think this is a good idea or not. all i see is cna's are going to become snitches to become the level number''4'' and alot of i am this and your not. i feel the A.D.O.N and the D.O.N have no clue what this will start and if they do, they want new blood in this place and the best way is this way, anybody out there knows there is tention enough without putting ''numbers'' to tell you what level of a cna you are. telll me you idea and opinion. thankS

That is the most MALIGNANT and TWISTED system I have ever heard. Do not those bozos have a better thing to do with their marketable skills in their chosen profession than wasting the precious time and resources--that is grossly irrelevant and only promote a fury among the healthcare sector? To an outright revealing the expertise level of each worker is an invasion of privacy and should be SEALED. Those type of practices is only valid in the grade school and in the group home systems, but N-O-T in the everyday professions. That those who came up with such system should be relieved from their jobs.

I totally disagree with the rating of CNAs. By doing this will make other CNAs look bad and bring down the morals. It doesn't help their moral if they are going to be labeled, and every one is looking at their level. Also, the expectation of those low rating CNAs would be low. The LPNs and RNs would not have much respect for them, as well the the CNAs and not to mentioned the residents who gets these CNAs. I think it is a stupid as well as a degrading system set in place. I feel for anyone who is rated below 3.

I don't see how they can do that, my evaluation is private. Sounds like a good way to start trouble.

Sorry, I just skimmed your original post (I have a REALLY bad habit of doing that) and I see that you're talking about evaluations. I thought you were saying that you have Level 1, 2, 3 and 4 CNA's in your area.

My bad.
