can't believe nobody is talking about these games. After two really exciting game 1's, which were both decided in the final minutes the two #1 seeds seem to be in control. Are these series just a formality now? or do the Stamps and Steelheads still have a chance? will either force a game 3? or is saturday the final game of the season for both of last years eastern division finalists?

It is quiet on here.
I'm pretty sure the Steelheads are done in 2. It is going to be tough to beat the Demons at home.
Not sure the Luckies can finish off the Stamps in 2. G&B are the Stamps taking a full line-up? This is going to be a great game Sat and maybe Sun. Wish I was giving my gate money to the BL Braves but I guess I will make the trip and pad the Luckies pockets to watch a round 2 game.

I think it is kind of obvios Rusty, that some are tired of getting slammed by the meatheads (orr)(steely)etc, so let the games (teams) do the talking ,kind of like you disappearing on the threads with the puddle controversy.Good to see you back in action though.should be some great games ,good luck to all.

I disappeared when my computer got a virus and I was computerless for two weeks. As far as I'm concerned the only controversy was the imaginary one made on the forum. The only mistake the Stamps made was not notifying the league. There was really no other choice for the team. It's not as if anyone gained an advantage from the situation.

okay i;ll wade into thewater with afew comments i hope the sharks aren,t too close to shore. as i predicted i think the stamps depth will be too much for the luckies. KENZLE will have to steal it for the luckies to survive. i also said Demons to win with Moran being the difference, well apparently he wasn,t. experience vs youth, ithink the steelies will be tough to beat. demons are alittle shorthanded up front so it will be up to some of the ole vets to see if they can survive. i won;t predict both visitors to win but iwill consider it some what of an upset if they don;t
a couple notes for the teams top supporters.
RUSTY-i think your stamps will do it and as an added bonus i hear the Martens boys are coming to do the game .NO NO NO not two refs i,m sure Eric will be on the lines, although i;m sure Korey will give him the red arm bands for abig game soon. Eric did the sprucekings game last night. was soso. he is probably the best up and comer. I am just kidding on the 2 ref comment
SANDLAK its a short commute from A&W to the Claude Parrish so grab a couple extra burgers for your top and only line they are going to need the extra fuel
PAPA the empire could be falling. o well all good things must come to an end. But who knows maybe in afew hours it will all be rosy again.
STEELY-ON its the granola capitals big moment in senior hockey can you seize the opportunity. I can see it now you and ORR (like the 2 kids everyone picked on at school) arm and arm in the beer garden at the COY saying i told ya so.
and i'm feeling like my dog just ran away Demons lose, Sprucekings lose again, Oilers lose again, lost $$$ at the casino, o wait check nhl scores ,sports action comes through $165. ah life is good again and on that note
VENNY - bigtip.org check it out , check ya later

Kitimat lost to Smithers last night with a score of 5 - 2.

A very hard game to watch as the Kitimat team tried to get it together.
They can not blame anyone for this loss except themselves (although I'm sure they will try). Hopefully they can shake it off and show the Kitimat fans a better game today.

everyone realizes this isnt the end of the world...just - possibly -the end of a season. A combination of player losses -- new job, injuries, brought some new blood on the Ice Demons this season.

They did a pretty good job - one shoot-out loss and one road loss.
Last night was, for our fans, an abberation and I have no doubt the players will step up today and put in a much better perfomance.

The re-building Steelheads have come to play and played well last week and through the season. We'll see today if they can finish off -- but that has been a problem for a lot of teams.

This is the one that counts.
