Interesting report on the take over of Glasgow Rangers by Charles Green.
Remember his days, nor the happiest at the club.
Probably playing our best football for a long time under Spackman, who then had the rug pulled from under him, and he resigned.Sold our two main stikers within days of one another and it is all history now.
What of this man Green.58 years old, no football connections since leaving the lane,in accordance with companies house has held 39, yes 39 directorships or secretarial appointments of which 13 companies disolved.According to the report on this site.
Obviously a search of the public available records on companies house will show.
How do they do it and how can a club of the size of Rangers want to get involved.Wonder how many folk have been left out of pocket on that journey.
There was a time when the rules re directorships were under consideration for changing but it fell by the way.
The only liability was to repay the share capital held, which meant very little if one was an unsecured creditor.
Then folk moan about our present chairman!

Frying Pan to Fire seems to be the journey Rangers are in danger of taking...

Greenie was with us from April 97 to june 98. He seems to have a friend called John Michael Edison--who seems to have done a good job at Man U.
Is there a connection with Craig Whyte?

Only in the sense that they both are allegedly not 'fit and proper'...

It is the guy who sold Deane and Fjortoft on the same day isn't it?

And the guy who there were rumours about forcing Spackman to give trials to his mates?

Very worrying for Rangers re his previous record - number of companies etc.
