Not sure he'd get a start with Macca in the middle anyway ;)

Milan Misun, a Czech U19 defender. Looks like DW may have had him briefly at Swindon.

He had a bad knee injury, but was pretty highly rated at one point. Enough for Celtic to buy him at any rate.

Supposedly we might be close to signing Joe Garner from Watford? Striker who has not really stepped up in the championship but had a good record for Carlisle.

It seems he won't be coming to us after all.

Will we ever be able to hang on to a promising full back that we have developed? I guess that anyone who needs a full back will just check out Sheff Utd in the future.

It breaks my heart Dave but I guess the wages Villa can offer the lad are simply and literally out of our league. If he does go I wish him the best of luck, personally I think he'll need it. My hope for the future is the Blades in the premier league with at least half a dozen homegrown players. The problem being that until we get there all our youngsters will have their heads turned by an extra zero on their monthly pay check.

Text below as reported on-line - "have signed" sounds pretty definitive. A shame, but if we're getting three million pounds then for once that seems as though we've drive a decent bargain.
