Did this article ever make it through to the forum? There are gruesome errors in it (for example, Norman Snider is not at all the same person as Martin "Moe The Gimp" Snyder) and yet it registers as an enthusiastic tribute to Eddie Lang, with one or two unexpected contributions and archival insights.

Eddie Lang was an out of this world musician. He added an extra musical dimension to all his recordings. Can you imagine Bix's solo in Singin' the Blues without Eddie adding sublime guitar accompaniments to Bix's (and Tram's legendary solos; and also behind the clarinet solo; and in fact, throughout the recording.)? And what about Eddie in "I'm Coming Virginia" with Bix and Tram. Eddie at various points echoes what Bix and Tram are doing.
