Nice record. Of course both Jimmy and Tommy Dorsey had played with Bix, both in studio bands and with Whiteman. J. D.'s solo is basically a paraphrase of the melody with just some minor variations. And I'm convinced the trombone soloist is definitely brother Tommy. As some of the YouTube commentators noted, the most interesting part of this record is the introduction by the reed section, which sounds an awful lot like Glenn Miller's band a decade later.
