Rats - didn't work. Albert, can I just paste a copy into the body of the post?
When I clicked the Photobucket link it did not work. Can you explain?
Thanks.

I just uploaded this file without any problem.

I am afraid I do not have an explanation. What happens when you click on the link to photobucket? When you say it did not work, did a page open under your post? Do you have a user id and password for photobucket?

Perhaps, the easiest solution is that offered by James inhttp://www.network54.com/Forum/27140/me ... 82/TinyPic

...the photo of Bix taken in Atlantic City by Irving Riskin in August of 1927. Thanks for sharing it, Nick ! It's an interesting painting to me, with a comparatively small portion of it representing what looks to be a rural-type impression of Davenport, perhaps, with a large blazing sunset in the background. But three-quarters of the painting is in darkness, and it almost seems to be overtaking the rest of what we see. I wonder if this is symbolic of the artist's perception of Bix, or perhaps just representing the fact that his lifestyle often made him a creature of the night.

He looks so different from Albert's picture. I never would have guessed. I mean Debbie's photo.

Yep I love that Atlantic City picture - one of the best of Bix I think. Like your comments - The light and dark of the man I guess.
