Strangely, none of the films listed is from 1927.
All from '32, except for 'The Champ' which is from '31.

One could only guess at criteria for this "Top" list.

"Blind Willie Johnson
►Dark Was the Night, Cold Was the Ground" is quite the entry!

I imagine "Dark...Ground" was relatively unknown in it's time of shellac issue, and would be so still today, if not for it's inclusion in NASA's Earth record of 1970s.
