Started the celebrations this morning, first with the Mosiac cd's of the Okeh recordings, then on the Whiteman stuff. There are quite a few spectacular pearls amid the Whiteman lumber (because of Bix, of course) -- Changes, Lonely Melody, Ain't No Man Worth the Salt of My Tears.

And the sweetly sad I'll Be A Friend With Pleasure.
