Last night, I watched this movie on TCM. Delightful!

- Music by Vincent Youmans.

- Fantastic acting and dancing by Fred and Ginger: they steal the movie.

- Stroh violin seen clearly in a couple of scenes.

- Four-string violin seen in one scene.

- Joe Venuti uncredited violinist according to imdb.

-Members of the band prominently featured.  I did not spot Joe in any of the scenes where members of the bnd had dialogue. Can you identify any of the other musicians?

I wonder if the character of the band leader Roger Bond was inspired by Roger Wolfe Kahn: both Rogers are band leaders, sons of wealthy fathers and airplane pilots.

"...it's not a fox-trot or polka" (lyrics by Gus Kahn)

This is a great tune from the movie, really fun. In the film it serves as the Big Dance Number, just like The Conntenental and The Picolino did in other Astaire/Rogers films.

A bit of Astaire and Rogers from the film: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HVp3PtUQgWU

And here are two versions, both superb.
