They DID also have a Hasegawa 1/72 F-111C/G marked down from $50 to $40 but I snaffled that! ;0

Jamie, that is a good price for the Pig. The Canberra shop that I visited today had it discounted to $110.

However, they did have the Bronco 1/35 XXVIIB/B5 Midget Submarine kit for $55. I have already bought two 1/72 scale ICM kits from NKR and a 1973 English translation of the 1955 book - 'K Men: the story of the German frogmen and midget submarines' by C.D. Bekker (ISBN 0-7041-0006-1). So I bought it straight away. For those thinking of buying one of these very nice Bronco kits, you may be interested in an email I have just sent to the shop:

Hi guys,

Today, I bought the Bronco kit CB35053 - Seehund XXVIIB/B5 Midget Submarine. I noticed when I got home that the only colour and decal information is on the outer box, with a listing of colours on page 2. There are no colour call-outs on the assembly instructions. Is there supposed to be a set of painting instructions?

As well, the Correction sheet seems to be incorrect with the drilling of holes only in the top and right side of both torpedoes - I think this should be top and outboard sides of both.

Regards,
Tony

$87.50. I'm not trying to be a salesman, just giving everyone another price to gauge against.

Haven't had a good look at it yet, just come in today. Always when I'm on my weekend.

Ben.

82.50 to 85.00 depending on where you look. Seems around $85 is what it is generally going to be.

I think Toms have been giving a club discount to IPMS (NSW) & APMA for some time... only for cash & not including already discounted items..you need to show current club membership .... but if you go in often enough the guys behind the counter will often give you a discounted price already.

I've been getting Club discount for AMMS for a few years now. Tom's is 5 mins from work so I get in fairly frequently.
