OK, briefly... got this gun, has alot of traits with the primary new york, ie: pivot breech, crank cocking, basic design... yet here is where it differs, barrel is different... it is a smooth bore, looks like .25 caliber (have not gauged it yet), german silver butt plate and trims... (see pics) And yup, missing the crank (damn it all) (G)
Anyone have any ideas about the history, or a maker?
