Ok, that's enough for me. I got it started, but its up to the rest of you to fill in the info for the rest of the teams. Wanna do a comparision by position? I haven't done the forwards yet, but it was interesting to see how many 92 D each team is carrying. Teams with 2 or more 92 defensemen: Kingston (Mort & Gudbranson), Ottawa (Hartwick & Haney), Petes (Brathwaite & Buonomo), Sarnia (Dunning & Chiarlitti), and the Soo have 3 (Archibald, Mead, and Cardwell). Several teams have none (Erie, Kitchener, London, Mississauga, Oshawa, Saginaw, and Windsor). Somebody wanna do that count for the forwards & goalies?

Peterborough sent Braithwaite and Buonomo down to the Jr.A Stars, both will be making appearances during the season, but will primarily be with the Stars.

Spooner and Quesnele are the only 92's that are playing every game.

Looked at tonight's stat sheets and some of the 92s had a tough 2nd week.

Toot..Toot...Toot...Toot...Toot....Toot...

For some of these players reality is going to set in. Most of us having watched these boys for the past 8 years and in hundreds of games know which ones are the cream and which ones are sour milk. Lots of cream still not in the OHL. Don't give up your chance will come.

Any '92 signing and playing with an OHL team this season deserves HUGE kudos as it is the toughest and best and #1 developmental league in the WORLD! The NHL scouts have everyone of them penned in as they are the lucky ones getting to make a first impression for the 2010 NHL draft. Slice it and dice and hack it to death but the bottom line is these '92 players have the edge right now. Of course nothing is ever a sure thing but this group of '92's will be in the drivers seat until they are knocked out by an incoming '92 next season (unlikely). The odds of that happening are not very good as history shows that every player in the OHL puts up better numbers year after year so a second year OHL '92 will have a big time edge in their draft year. Check the history books, thats the proven track record. Yes there are the few who come in late and make a splash but you can count on this years CHL 92's making up 90% of the 2010 NHL draft. Just take a look back over the last 5 NHL drafts and you will see where they came from. The OHL, WHL, & QMJHL is still THE PLACE to find the most NHL ready players. Talk to any '92 playing Major Junior right now and they will tell you that they are in a new world. By November you'll see a huge change in these kids. Talk to their parents and they too will probably tell you how much their son has changed, developed, matured, focused call it what you will. Good bad or indifferent the atmosphere and pressures placed on Major Junior players is unmatched. Thats why NHL scouts, coaches and GM's flock to these games. I had 2 sons play in the OHL, both went pro and 1 spent 6 seasons in the NHL. I have a newphew in the OHL now and I can sense the change in him already. It's the real deal and head and shoulders above any other option.
