I'm now 65, live in Italy, near Torino (Turin) in NW of Italy. I spent all my working life, after graduation, in the biggest Italian aircraft industry Flt Test Center as engineer (based on Torino airport at Caselle). My last position was as manager for the Italian Typhoons protos test activities and I'm now retired since three years (just for those thinking that in Italy we all early retire, I retired at 62 after 43 years of work). I'm modeling since I was a kid, starting with very crude stuff hand carved and sawed from wooden fruit box (in the early 50's my family was not rich enough to allow me buying then expensive kit), then the plastic bagged Airfix and so on. Almost always dealing with WWII subject rigorously 1/72, with some diversion into HO trains, 1/25 figurines and dioramas of American Civil War and American west (my second passion since I was a little kid).
