Games of the week.....

TNF: :DEN: @ :OAK:

Surely I'll be the only one staying up to watch Peyton destoy the Failers.

Sunday highlights:

6pm: :BAL: @ :WAS:

Two teams in the thick of the playoff race, plus a rare local derby match. Look for RG3 to pull it out the bag and push Washington closer to a first postseason berth in 5 years.

9.25pm:  @ :NYG:

Saints are in desperation mode, and the Giants are desperately needing to win to stave off RG3 and the Redskins. Should be a great game. Too close to call this one.

1.20am: :DET: @ :GB:

Will the Lions be able to keep it close?

MNF: :HOU: @ :NE:

Could be the Monday night highlight of the year. Could be key in deciding what city will host the AFC's route to New Orleans. Can't see past NE.

I can, their offense is absolutely pitiful and their D is severely depleted through injury.

Home teams start off as 3pt favourites anyway. And there's a lot of negativity about Baltimore and a lot of RG3-love from the general public. Spreads reflect the "popularity" of teams just as much as they do their actual ability. Dallas, Pittsburgh and Green Bay lines are always a little inflated to cover the amount of "homer" bets that come in on them.

I assume the Giants and Pats would also have the same effect.

Yea. I'm considering getting the "Football Outsiders Premium" til the end of the season, their picks are currently 57% against the spread, which is fantastic.
Big Ben announced as the starter. Just a few weeks removed from a broken rib poking far too close to his aorta...

That wasn't as bad as it seemed apparently. Although I don't won't him to come back if he isn't up to it. Don't want a repeat of the niners and subsequent injury after that. Ruined our season.

Was just looking back at the wild indignation when I moved up in YTGM 2011 to take JJ Watt. Gilly having a go at me for moving up and not taking Quinn. I feel rather good about the move after the season so far :P (No one mentioned Aldon Smith as a possibility).

The best is P-Mac: "Anyone feeling like they did when the Jags took Alualu?"

(insert smug face here)
