Average WW2 pilots BD and trousers, no name, no history, not 'Suits Aircrew' and no special ribbons. Yet at £630.00 with a week left????

IIRC, a size 18 is as big as they come. They don't come up for sale all that often and tend to command higher prices. Whether GBP630 is realistic or not is open to debate.

I agree, it will have a premium because of the rare large size, someone probably intends on wearing it! I would still say it has gone way above its true value but if more than one bidder wants it it can run away!

Agreed, but with almost a week still left to run, I'd hate to think of the final price if they carry on like this. I mean, if, for example, it reached £800.00, would you wear it?

.....I would wear it, while discussing my next venture with Sir Richard Branson, just after purchasing Harrods.

But my other half is chuffed as he is thinking of flogging one of his Suits aircrew...too big for him. (size 18) and if anyone's at Rufford Abbey this weekend, also some of his flying boots etc to fund WW1 RFC kit.
