A few of my members have reported intermittent problems when connecting via 3G which don't seem to be there over Wifi, and whilst I don't have more info that this [thread link], I've checked around here for similar problems being reported.

It seems that the error message "This Function is currently unavailable - please contact you forum administrator if problem persists" is involved somewhere and that the recommended solution might be to upgrade the plugin.

Problem is that the the links (above) to the Forum Network - http://www.tapatalk.com/directory/directory and the Forum Owners - http://www.tapatalk.com/directory/entry/login are both broken.

My current version is mobiquo_vb38_1_0_2 - is there an update available and could that be related to the reported problem?

    Thanks in advance,
    Mike :)

    Noted.

The second issue is related to our overnight server upgrade. It is all fixed and working now.

For the first one, we are keeping an eye on it and is looking for a permanent solution. This is extremely difficult to trace as the complexity of 3G network and session management in apps. Please report it if you find a more consistent way to reproduce it and any other tips and insights you believe can assist us.

Thanks for that - I've made the suggested change and will wait for feedback from the affected members.

    Hi folks,

I tried this fix but the device continuosly gives me the Network Error [retry][logoff]

I can continually hit the retry button and eventually get to where I want to be but the popup always comes up blocking the screen.

    Anyone able to assist?

Can you confirm if this only happen in 3G network and it appears fine in Wifi?
