Hi all, Just managed to finish up the Image Upload feature and thought we should send this out now rather than later for you to try it. Let us know if you have any issue with it. (Function not available in IPB and not fully tested in SMF) The app should be a lot more stable now in terms of the connection. You should see less "Bad Socket" now (let us know if it still doesn't improve).
Just updated, tried uploading pictures I took with the phone, keeps force closing "process com.quoord.tapatalkpro.activity" force close when trying to attach 3MP resolution picture from my gallery. Then it takes me back to the main forum page. But when I select a JPG file that I downloaded for wallpaper on my phone, uploads just fine. So it seems it might be a problem with big file size pictures or higher resolution pictures. Phone: T-mobile Cliq running 1.5 Android
Yes, you can also try it with the free version but you won't be able to submit the final post though.. at least you can try it before spending few dollars..
Yes this is a crux as we spent many hours to get it right. Looks like still a bit of problem in 1.5 environment.
I just tried it with my Eris on 1.5 and it seemed to work. Image quality isn't very good though. Edit: Quality looks good on the computer, just not on the phone.
I'm very excited about this feature. Tried test posting in test area. On my Droid eris, I was able to upload a pic from SD card. But it would not work when i select attach pic from camera. (I took pic, pressed 'done', but the pic was not uploaded to my forum post. ) Not a big deal, as the workaround is easy (take pic, save to sd card, then upload from card)
Yeah, it is working great. I got the update and now I am able to upload pictures. But there is a drawback that pictures of large size cannot be uploaded. Till now everything went smooth and did not see any “Bad socket” messages. The app is working really well. I hope it continues like this.
Does not work. HTC Desire running CM7.1 and using the latest version of TT. Does not show on phone and not on computer browser, if I right click the image and click view in another tab it just says cannot find this address blablabla. I paid for this app. I thought it was supposed to work. Seriously..
