Superscript, bold, underline etc

Thanks for a great product. I wasn't sure whether I should report the following a feature request rather than a bug but it's an issue which will prevent me from using Tapatalk in my forum:

In the Tapatalk iPhone app, using phpbb3 forum, text decorations are not rendered. By this I mean underline, superscript, subscript, bold, etc. These are rendered in phpbb3 using inline css styles using the span HTML tag.

This is an important issue in any forums which use these text decorations to denote mathematical properties. For example underline may denote a vector. If superscript is not rendered then x-to-the-power-y becomes x-multiplied-by-y, which is very different! This makes using Tapatalk unreliable for me.

    Thanks

Hi Dave, adding more BBCode support is in our plan but not immediate - we are pretty tied up on other more immediate issues and surely we will look into it later.

Thanks for the reply. I look forward to the support of the span tag, which bbcode uses. I noted today that HTML entities are also not yet supported, which is also important for forums with maths or physics, because Greek letters are used as well as mathematical symbols. I hope you can add that support soon too!

    Thanks

How's the support for BBCode coming along?

At the moment there is no styling at all - no italics, bold, or underline, not to mention superscript, subscript and html entities.

    Thanks

Still working on it :D italics/bold/underline will soon be supported

Any chance of super script and subscript support? I don't mean the ability to post using sub or sup in Tapatalk, just that Tapatalk would honour sub and sup html tags in existing posts.
    Thanks
    Dave
