I'm still trying to get this to work. I can not install the Package on SMF. When I try to install it, it appears to work, but when I look in the "mobiquo" directory under the forum directory, all the files are zero length. Yes, the directory is writeable. Yes, all directories are writeable. It is creating empty files.
If that's the case you can simply put the entire "mobiquo" folder via FTP and make sure the proper permission is set. Let us know if you need any help.
OK, so upload drops the .zip file into the Packages directory. But when I click on "Apply Mod", it throws a "Modification Parse Error" for install.xml. As I indicated, all the extracted files are of zero length. So, I did as you suggested, and manually unzipped the .zip file. It created the mobiquo directory, and dropped all the files in there. Including the install.xml file. After manually unzipping the file, I "chmod 777 *" in the mobiquo directory. I then clicked on "Apply Mod" again, and it throws the same "Modification Parse Error". What next?
Don't need to "Apply Mod", in this case just visit our website and click "Verify Install" and see how it goes.. Let us know if you still have any problem
