Is there a way to get Tapatalk to show new posts as unread when browsing the forum via Categories? I use phpBB and only want to see unread posts in a specific forum. So it would be nice to for tapatalk to show a post as unread rather than just under the Latest tab. Or, make it so that you can sort posts on the latest tab by forum. Is this possible? Thanks, Alan
Something like an RSS feed linked to the category? I wonder... not sure maybe I could set that up in VB if it was cookie driven but an RSS feed would make more sense (am I off base?).

No, I do not want to hide read posts. I just want a way to quickly visualize what posts are unread in the categories tab. Basically I would like the blue dot shown in the latest tab that indicates an unread post to be displayed for unread posts in Categories -> My Forum -> My Subforum. Right now, an indicator for new posts only shows up under the latest tab. Does that make sense? Thanks, Alan
The new posts indicator (the blue dot in iPhone or orange bar in Android) appears under Categories too. Or you don't see it?

For information, this issue does'nt exist on the tapatalk community which is a Vbulletin forum. Have a good night
Finally, the last version fix well the initial issue but they are two others issues in connection: 1/ In the forum tab, we don't view in wich forum there are unread posts, so we have to visit each forum to know it. It should be good to have the blue dot above the forum name to know it. 2/ Global announces are not displayed in a forum so no way to visit global announces. Thanks per advance

Indeed, you have a forum with unread posts, when you are in the forum, you see well the blue dot: My request concern the view in the forum tab: It would be usefull to have the blue dot in this view, to know that they are unread posts in a forum before to visit it like that for example: Have a good year 2010

Noted. Yah Fonz explained to me about your idea in more details. we had documented this and is planned for the future. Ideally we want to show number of unread topics in a sub-forum before you enter into it.
