While I appreciate what the Tapatalk team is attempting to accomplish, I am currently investigating a negative trend in our web site statistics (awstats), which originate from the Apache log files, since the plugin was originally installed. I'll report my findings in a few days...
It's ironic that shortly after I made this post, the following video appeared on YouTube. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4Mj_iTxP0Sk Enough said.
I just took that video down. Not looking to give negative press. But I definitely think this issue should be bumped up in priority. I installed the 1.61 update and it didn't have any affect on fixing the load issues.
Note: The video has been removed by the user. It was basically showing MySQL usage skyrockting after a post was made using the Tapatalk interface. I hope my posts are not removed, as there are serious issues with Tapatalk and vBulletin that need to be addressed.
Please, put the video back up. I just watched it before it was taken down. It is not negative press. It's reality and gives vBulletin owners something to seriously consider before installing this plugin.
