Taken from the Forum Owners Area, I think this needs some clarification and it doesn't seem to be getting a lot of attention in the other forum. Was this fixed? Plaintext passwords? I was poking around a little bit and noticed that the iPhone app sends passwords across the line in plaintext when logging into vBulletin. The vBulletin forum itself uses clientside javascript to encrypt passwords before it sends your password across the wire, so why doesn't the iPhone app?
