vBulletin 3.8.x Picture attachment option no longer works

I added tapatalk to my forum this afternoon and apparently got it working right (verified through the system here); although I don't have a smartphone and cannot test it.

But I did notice that since then the images attached to member's posts do not show up anymore. And when you try to attach new ones it goes through right, but then when you try to look at the image all you get is a broken link error message.

Picture posting is a big thing with my users and not all of them will use the smartphone app. This was working fine until I added the tatatalk thing today. I hope someone can help me fix this so I don't have to delete the app option.

Well I am running the vb38_1_5_2 version and still have the image attachment problem.

You won't be able to get into the forum without registering and waiting for admin acct activation, so I don't know what good it will do, but -

I saw a "guest" on the forums using the app yesterday; was that you winter?

Is there anything we can do to fix this? A few people are complaining; I have suggested no one else buy/download the app until we get this fixed.

I hope we can get this fixed soon, or I will have to just delete the plug in.

Thanks ... hey by the way; how can I turn that off to where only my members can find us through the app? I have read some things here about bugs that give guest more access through the app, so I think I'd rather not make it as known.

I just thought I would update for others that may have this problem ...

After Yao took a look at my board he thought it looked like the 'attachment.php' file was corrupted or missing. Turns out it was missing; I have no idea how this happened as everything was working fine before I added the tapatalk plug in!

But when I added the file back (glad I had a copy saved from a recent update) everything works fine now.
