All announcements are ignored when we get topics. We do this just considering the limit space of iphone and other mobile device. We have plan to include it with in a new tab just like stick topics.

Can you tell me how you have a post you see in My Post but not under the "Forums" tab? Can you reproduce this issue by using a test account and tell us the URL?
Hi winter, following happend and I just reproduced it with a test-account: Computer-side: - creating a new thread with one post - this first post is set to 'global announcement' iPhone-side: - I can NOT see the thread/post within the forum (with none of my accounts) - I can see the post when I go to my profile -> 'My Post (Beiträge)' URL to follow via PM cause my board is set to 'private' .... ^^ Best, KC
I'm not sure if it's a bug. We exclude announcement from forum topic list to save space for other topics, however, when you browse 'my post' or 'my topic', we don't treat the announcement topic as announcement but just the post or the topic of yours. We'll talk about it to see if we need any change?
Hi Javeley, got you Maybe, as an in between solution, the post/threads which are handled as an announcement and so blocked out from normal forum-access, could be shown up as 'normal' posts/threads ? Right now, if I write a post as an announcement, which I still want to do for all my board-user, nobody from the iPhone-users can read my post. From my point of view it would be great in minimum, if they can read it as a 'normal' post at the iPhone .... Just as a suggestion For later versions, as already written here, I like the idea of a 'sticky' too. Best, KC
We are aware of the need of an annoucement section and will look into it, ultimately a new tab dedicated for this. Cheers.
Winter- do you have an estimated completion date for this? I have just added Tapatalk to my forums and only just found this limitation- Announcements (note these are NOT global announcements, which are separate) are used quite heavily on the forums I administer to denote threads that users need to do something with (like voting threads etc.) and it is painful not to have them in Tapatalk. Thanks in advance.
Re For information, PhpBB plugin is ready for announcement, we need to update now the application about this point ...
Announcement will be implemented in next 2 update. Thanks Elglobo to implement it on the server-side few weeks ago.
I still can't see the Global Announcements using the latest tapatalk plugin and iPhone paid app. Additionally, I can't reply to any of my subscribed global announce posts due to an improper forum id . Is there a timeframe on when this may be fixed? Cliff
