Winter knows all about this one, but I thought Id be thorough and post it here as well. Tapatalk currently wont support URLs to boards that are hosted on ports other than the standard http 80. URLs of the form 'http://myboard.com:8765/phpbb3' will not get past the verification step, nor (as Im told) will the app work with it even if it was approved. Some folks dont like using standard ports for smaller boards that are not public, as it invites security risks on local, smaller or home run servers. Also, running a server on port 80 is often prevented by service providers. It would be great if tapatalk could support boards like this.
Noted - and yes it should also support non standard HTTP port. We will try to fix it in next release. Thanks for this report.
Can you please pm me your forum url and available port? I will do some quick test and if it work, the none-80 port will be supproted in next release. Thanks, yao
