I cannot post to my forums using Tapatalk for iPhone. Whenever I attempt to do so, I get an error that says:

    "Network Error

Your account may have pending actions that require a standard web browser to perform. Otherwise please contact your forum administrator if this problem persists."

If I click "retry" the error message pops back up again. If I click "cancel" the post is not sent.

M account has no pending actions, and I am the admin... so, help?

What's your forum URL? Can you PM me a test account?
  3. ssaint04 Member

    Sure. Check your PMs.

EDIT: Hey, I can't send PMs.

It's only a test account that'll give you almost no access, so I'll post it here:

Gracias! You guys are the best! I'll let you know how it works. I'm travelling this weekend, home tomorrow, so it'll get a test-drive once I get unpacked.

Well, the bug's not dead. Same error. I updated the package on my SMF, completely deleting the old one, and installing the new one. It still shows in my installed packages page as v 0.9.3.

And when I tried to post from my iPhone, I got the same issue. I logged off my forum, deleted it from my tapatalk favorites, reset my phone, and then went to the forum and tried to post. Error message popped up as soon as I tried to post.

Are you running the latest plugin 0.9.5?:)

0.9.6, actually. I updated it just this morning.

This is strange, I just login using the account you provided and am able to create new topic and reply. Which thread you have trouble to reply? Or is it a common issue for all thread?

Seems to be random threads, at random times. It works this morning, it didn't work last night.

Color me stumped. I'll be sure to let y'all know if it crops back up, so we can find the bug and kill it (hopefully for good)

Confirmed. Same issue here. I am on SMF 2.0 RC3

    I have the same problem.
It seems to be my short posts go through but a lengthy post will not.
And then again it seems rather random.
    I also still can't edit.
I have two accounts on the site, one works, one doesn't. lol.

And now i'm getting it again.

Doesn't matter how long or short my post is. I just tried a one word post. No dice.

Hmm I think I figured out my problem. I have changed my sn to show up as my real name when I post instead of the login name.
I think that's the problem with editing my post at least.

Looks like the display name vs. login name issue. The Edit button is hidden if they are different. We are working on a fix now.

I just downloaded and installed on my iPhone as well as activated the latest latest dowload of TAT (v. 0.9.7) for SMF (v. 1.1.11). Tried to post my first reply and got this same message. Any word on fix yet? And, yes, I do have a different display name. Perhaps if I changed it back to my regular registered name, it will work?

Update: Nope, changed my display name back to my login name and it still doesn't work.... :(

Update: Just posted a message containing three words and it miraculously worked.

    Mine works now. :)

Dave can u confirm if it works better under WiFi mode if so we can narrow down the issue for further bit.
