I just bought the app and it works with my favorite site. I have found several issues with app though relative to the number of posts it shows: On the All Posts tab, it shows the exact same content as the Unread Posts tab. In addition, there is no way to go beyond the few posts that are shown on the All Posts tab. In other words, once I get to the bottom of the All Posts tab, there is no way to get more posts. On the Unread Posts tab, it is only ever showing the most recent unread 20 posts. Why this particular forum, there are always more than that. In addition, there is no way to get more unread posts. Both of these are major limitations to the app. When will this be fixed?
If you want to get more post you will have to drill down to sub-forums - not fantastic but you can still read anything you want there. We are adding "Load More" option at the All Posts tab and the default 20 is the magic number that to make sure fast turn-around time so the app can be more responsive. I think 2 more updates we will be there.
How about adding options for more than 20? 20 is much too small for this forum. Also, how about a "Load More" option on the "Unread Posts" tab as well? Again, this is far too limiting.
Yes, I really would love this. With big forums the number 20 is way too little. Great would be a freely configurable number, which allows me even to view the last 1000 posts. Thanks for considering this!
One thing I couldn't find, too is that the apps jumps to the last post. The topic always starts from the beginning...
If you are using the iPhone, you can change the settings to jump to the first post instead of the last post.
Does not work for me. It still opens the thread and shows post #1. The German translation for this option is *very* fuzzy...
