From everything I have read it appears that apps will be able to port over to the Ipad. I'm working with a doctors group and they would like to incorp the Ipad with their practice, they also have their favorite forums that they want to be able to browse. Is it known for sure that tapatalk will port over? Or will a revised edition be needed for the Ipad?

im just curious though, why wouldn't the reg forum site be sufficient since the ipad has a large screen?

The same as the Iphone I suppose, convenience. They have become accustomed to browsing and posting to forums in a certain way. Youtube and other video links are of minimal concern so that leaves tapatalk and it's ability for extreme speed at displaying the selected material. It really does cut down on bandwidth and makes browsing by wireless very efficient (their facility will be several offices intermingled within one large complex building).

As far as I know the app can run on iPad in an enlarged mode. Are you sure you want to use Tapatalk to view detail posts? I mean it doesn't have smilies, limited image support and etc?

What about a little iPad app allows you to navigate forums easily with additional webview inside? E.g. on the left hand side you can see a list of subforums and topics in native format, then on the right hand-side it jumps to the respective webpages? etc etc?

Winter, I know you folk can come up with all sorts of cool stuff... I'm looking forward to seeing it too!! What I find more often than not is that highly professional people tend to get a little anti-technology. They tend to like things that are very simple to use and allows them to do what they want quickly and easily. These cats don't spend a lot of time on the internet just surfing but they do spend time on forums (such as motorcycle boards). They use them to setup local meets and talk about mods for their bike or others' bike. One feature I mentioned a little while back was the ability to have tapatalk interface with VBgallery, while it would be nice addition to tapatalk the work around for us has been the use of flickr. The end user just publishes to flickr and transfers the link.

So in short, they like what they know and hate change.
