Hi all, First off what a great idea for an app. As a keen forum user it will be nice to access them all quickly and simply from one interface! Now my problem. I am running Android 1.5 on a HTC Hero and have just installed the v1.0.15 beta. Unfortunately browsing forums with sub-forums (tested on AVForums) the app slows right down and becomes virtually unusable. Viewing the Forum List and Latest is absolutely fine. If there are any tests you would like me to do to try and help resolve this let me know. Thanks, Michael
I am glad you bought this up as we received few comment that the app is a bit slow but no one can tell us where the slowness appears. We will look into it ASAP.
good stuff... if you need me to test anything just let me know. As a quick update I have just bought the paid app from the marketplace (the first app I have paid for!) but the problem is present in that version too.
hi, not sure if this is related but when I log into any forum the app force closes, opens again, force closes again then opens with me logged on. Sent from my HTC Hero using Tapatalk
and I get unknown error is20 when viewing profiles on this site, and HTC sense has force closed a couple of times. possibly a memory issue? Sent from my HTC Hero using Tapatalk
We just updated both Beta and Pro version app with improved performance and with better memory management - please give it a try - I expect the AVForums issue should be fixed and it should be a lot quicker with scrolling and navigating around. Let us know how it goes.
hi again, just updated to the latest pro version and its a great improvement. browsing all forums seems to work perfectly well now. I have noticed however that going to More > Profile force closes the app. will report more bugs as I find them. Sent from my HTC Hero using Tapatalk
We also found this out after we shipped the build. Will probably send another update in few hours or so.
