How to Turn-off Quote Shortening?

I tried searching, but "quote" is too generic of a search, so forgive me if this has been asked and answered. Quote BBCodes are shortened to only a few lines. The entire quote is often truncated. This is especially problematic if the text being quoted is a news article or something.

Custom BBCodes don't work. Will this be added in eventually?
