Will there be a way for Android users to set the resize dimensions that Tapatalk resizes images to when posting a msg? Right now by default, it resizes images down to very small ones, and heavily compresses them so they're both small AND grainy/blurry. Not even worth attaching. This issue, and the fact that the "unread posts" button doesn't work (it still shows ALL posts) make this potentially great app, useless to me. I'd hate to ask for a refund on a low-cost like this, but just out of principle, I really feel I've paid for something that has absolutely no use to me, as right now it's better for me to open a full regular browser. At least that way I can view new/unread msgs. vB 3.7.4 and vb 3.8.4 / Android 2.1
Hi, I am moving this thread to Android section so it will have higher visibility and to be taken care off.
I hate to sound like an over-eager user with no patience... but.. err... any time frame on when we will be able to set the resize dimensions of images we attach to posts? Or even hard-coded built in options with radio buttons: 320px wide, 640, 1024, no resize.
'Not sure. I originally posted this in another forum here (can't remember what one) but someone moved it into here. Originally I didn't even know if it was an Android issue or a vBulletin issue.
Updates on this anyone? All I've ever been told about it is it's "in the works", but that could go on for 20 more years by which time other forum reader apps will be out.
Next update will improve photo quality if selected from library, still have a bit of issue with direct camera capture but I guess at least you will be able to get a better quality from the library.
1024px wide at least please! (user-selectable with a few options would be even better). 320 / 640 / 800 / 1024 / 1800
is this going to ever be addressed? seriously this is retarded that on my android i'm only able to put out a 640x480 image....
www.floridastreetscene.com This is pretty bad though seeing as I'm asking my users to pay for something so they can access the forum via their mobile devices but it's giving such a bad performance. I have the users able to upload images up to 3.2mp but nothing more than 640x480 comes out... This is very frustrating. I'm very much considering switching to Forum Runner due to the fact that their software doesn't have these issues. This issue has been going on way too long!
Seems the new fix seems to be working. Now more resizing options would be really nice. Sent via Captivate
