First of all I'd like to say the screen shots look fantastic and is a great way to bring communities closer. I run a forum on phpbbv3.4, out of initial curiosity how long does it take to integrate into the forum and exactly what phpbb files are being modified? and once updated on the forum, will it require further updating as new features are pressed out of the app? It seems I can't get the files until I register to have a peek... 2nd of all I notice the world wide tapatalk will be available soon through the app store, the price as I know it is $2.99 so I'm assuming £1.79 for the UK. Are there plans to increase the price in the future as more features are added? Last of all, is there any way I can get hold of the application being a UK consumer for initial trials to see if it suits my forum needs to avoid a wild goose chase? Thanks for the help
Hi MrTall, The plugin you need to install in your server does not alter your existing files / configuration, it sits in its own directory. Everytime you update the plugin you can simply remove the entire directory and replace with a new one - it takes less than a minute to do it. We have no plan to charge more for any features that we have announced that we are working on so what has been discussed here in this forum would find a way into the app eventually (if time permits). If you want to try it out, you can install the plugin and send us an email with your device UDID so your email will be automatically included in next beta release. Oh yes - I hate to project a date on world-wide release and we realized it has been exactly one month since 1.1 is released - all I can say is we are very close but Apple love to surprise us in last minutes for further changes and sure they did.
