Froz,

It is not on the app because it doesn't have enough traffic and content to make viewing on iPhone meaningful. We will however find a permanent spot on Tapatalk iPhone ASAP :)

seems odd to me that the support forum for the app isn't accessible via the app. i wanted to check out the site while i was away to see if anything has been said about the latest version released. but i didn't feel like dealing with the full site. haha i searched for the app but nothing came up. oh yeah that reminds me. the error message that came up was to technical for the average user. the error message was "Communication error parse error. Please check input values."

Good catch Fronz! This error message will be changed to "No Matches" in next release ;-)

not a problem!![/late] ha

When using the app the time is 4 hours ahead. im guessing its using the servers time instead of using my personal preference set in vb options.

are we able to add avatars here? i tried but i didn't see the option to upload?

For the Time display problem this is an on-going saga. We are thinking of simple displaying the time that matches the regional setting in iPhone, what do you think?

For the avatars, I am also wondering how to display it in showthread. Do you know where to set in admincp? :D

What is it that you are doing now that is messing up the time? I would think that you would already be syncing with time in the iPhone...

As for the avatars, are you asking if there is a place in the AdminCP to upload an avatar for a user?

There are three "time" from vb perspective, one is the server timestamp, one is the timezone setting in admincp, another one is the user's timezone setting. as our plugin does not alter the base vb code we need to find a way to catch and convert the time properly. We will spend more time looking into this.

For the avatar, I am talking about how to display it in showthread page..

Maybe I'm not understanding you correctly, I thought avatars were already showing up...

avatars are not showing on the website but they show in the app.

hmm when u say showthread u must mean on the website.

i thought u made template edits to remove avatars from the postbit OR its a usergroup change u need to make.

check what ever usergroup we are all in and be sure we can upload avatars. if it is enabled then make a default template available for us to switch too to try and upload avatars.

Okay I was confused between the user-profile picture and avatars. It seems to be working now.
