Image display error

The forum shows the user and other users avatars. However it will not display images (see attachment below). I have saved the images on the site to .png , .jpg and no luck with displaying the image. My site is Mrs V's Notepad (http://vaguard.us/notepad)

We never know how long Apple can get it thru but we are very close.

Meanwhile can you advise us the URL to produce your problem so we can double check it again?

They don't work even in our upcoming version. We have opened a ticket and is looking into it.

Just some added info of things I have tried:

I transferred all images from the database to a folder (folder is set to 777) within the forum. I changed the rendering from Imagemagik to GD and have switched back to Imagemagik. I reran optimization on the tables and received no errors.

Verified all permissions and looked for anything out of the ordinary. I have no plugins that deal with the thread image posting (just use VBulletin native).

did u turn off the hook system completely to see what would happen?

Yes, I shut down the hooks system and same display error. What does display is any image that is posted using "insert image" however any image posted using "attach files" does not display.

We found the root cause last night. It is because of your forum system use http://vaguard.us URL while your entry in Tapatalk is http://www.vanguard.us so it confuses the iphone app as two different site and not sending any session information to server so your server refuses to provide the thumbnail.

This is a minor hiccup on our site and it will take 1 month at least to get the updated app arrive to your hand. For immediate work around you should "edit" your forum entry in Tapatalk.com, remove the "www", and then remove it from favorites and try again. Your members will have to do the same thing also.
