Im having issues posting to threads and viewing private area at times. sometimes it will work and sometimes it wont. I even turned off the plugin system to verify it wasn't a mod conflicting with tapatalk. there really isn't a pattern to how it occurs. I was able to post in in one thread. went to another in the same forum and it didn't work. logged out and logged back in tried another forum and it didn't work. the one thing that is constant is that once i receive a permissions error i have to log out and log back in before i can post again.
so i just logged back on and its working like a champ giving me no issues. well the only issue im having is pics not showing.

Hi Fronz,
For the permission issues we are looking into it. For the image issue, can you tell us which images (url) are not showing on iPhone?
Thanks

When you encounter these issues, have you tried to log out (through "My Info") and then back in again? After re-entering your credentials, these issues are always resolved for me, until they start to occur again, usually after the phone goes to sleep while in the app.

No problem, I am still having that same issue with the newest version, so it may be a matter of time before it catches up with you
They'll get it fixed, it's just one of those pesky issues they probably have a hard time replicating.

Didn't realize this forum was available from the App, I thought I read that they didn't want to do that. I guess I am not keeping up real well.... :D

i guess i bugged them enough ha ha
it makes sense to have it in there even though there isn't many threads. it was nice to see the same error here that i was receiving on my own site. lets me know its not a mod on my site causing issues. plus it makes it easier to report an issue. they don't have to worry about logging into my site to try it out.

I'm telling you, it is related to letting the phone go to sleep while in the App, or some other event interrupting the App, once you get shuffled back to the main area and log back in with the credentials already being typed in automatically, that is when I have the problems. If I log right back out and manually enter my credentials, everything works fine... for a short time :p

I still get them, but it is still related to the sleep issue. A log out and back in fixes it.

Thanks for this Jimmy, let us know if you found a consistent way to reproduce it and we will fix it accordingly. For now we will keep this issue open.

Winter,
I just listed the best way to test this issue in the other thread. You should try this on my site in the admin area, this is where both Joe and I have this problem consistently, since the permissions are so tight in that forum and only admins have access to it. This also happens on my other site- same setup, same issues, same results.

This is new...
This happens in both the April 23rd release and the 27th release:

All I am trying to do is reply to a thread, and it says I am trying to post a new topic...
This is happening in the TEST thread of the admin section on my site.

Are you asking why it shows newest posts first? That is how I have it setup in my forum profile options. I didn't think anything of it the first time I saw it, I though that you guys just connected to that option...
But in that post, the problem I was referring to was that on a PC, the line breaks show up, and on the iPhone after I made the post, they don't...

For the line-break problem, we have just fixed it and will post the new update in next day or two. Thanks for this Jimmy.
For the reverse order posting, we didn't aware there is such a feature in vbulletin.. :D but it's good to see it work the way it should be (that was our motto to reuse everything from vb). However we will need to work something out so the "Show Newest Post" button is disabled so not to confuse user since the newest post is already on top.
