Mobile Registration

Just curious if members will ever be able to register while mobile. I go on a few apps and talk about the forum I'm on and alot of people seem interested but they can't register while mobile... And like alot of us we live on our iPhones .. So they end up having to wait or forgeting all together. I know I can't be alone on this one lol

this app is great. i truly believe if this was implemented it would help forums grow. i meet a lot of ipone peeps via various apps. it would be much easier if they could sign up in 2 minutes vs waiting till they get to a computer or signing up via safari.

this and picture attachments should be priority. IMO haha i know other form owners would say something like moderation or something. haha i say make things good for the user's first and then the admins. the admins and mods will be there, the users are the ones we have to worry about losing do to lack of functionality. (not an insult because the app is great)

Lol getting ppl to join a forum is like pulling teeth lol .. So when I finally convince them I have to hope rthey are by a computer lol cause other wise I feel like I have to be on their butts to join.. Plus it would get alot more peeps on the app.. All I would have to say is ... DL the app and sign up.. Convincing them to pay $3 for an app is easier then getting them on a computer.

its been some time now and there are more users and forum owners active on the site now. im curious if there are any others interested in this as much as i am. i believe this is vital for an app of this nature.

I talked to a lot of users their common grief is that they don't want to manually create an account for each forum, instead they want a single ID to connect to all forums. I personally think Facebook Connect is the answer but the fact that the facebook proxy-email is not so predictable so it's hard for the forum owners to rely on it, also not a lot of users want to share their facebook id/avatar to some of the more discrete forums.

What would be cool is to have an id that users can hop to different forums using this app, without even have to register at the first place?

Seems like the basic registration should be done first. A single sign on sounds hard and reminds me of a site that Tried to do something like this before. It didn't really pick up. I was in on it from beta. Damn I can't remember it. I'll figure out tomorrow. Haa it was kinda cool too. If u had friends on one site they would show on ur mainpage if they registered with the site. Man now I want to know what happened to this site.

I really hate telling peeps hey there is an app that will alow you to view my site but you have to register from a pc first.

U know i'm down for facebook connect. Haa but that shouldn't be the main form of registration. Users should be able to use either reg registration or facebook connect. If a user uses reg registration they should be able to connect it to facebook at anytime and disconnect it anytime.
