Hi,
After weeks of on and off development and integration we are pleased to announce a new feature at tapatalk.com (http://tapatalk.com/) where you can check out how your users use Tapatalk to access your forum, similar to the way you track your forum with other analytic service like Google Analytics.
So why we are doing this?
Well, we think forum owner should be able to see how their members use Tapatalk to access their forum, to gain more insight to how many actually using it and their time spent on it - and it is cool to see all these with an interactive interface with dynamic charting and lifetime data feed.
What kind of information I can get from it?
You can check out how many unique users (guest users and members) have been accessing your forum via Tapatalk, their average time spent and total time spent, how many session they have used so far, etc. We take advantage the iPhone unique device identification to accurately count the absolute unique visitors.
Where can I see it?
You can login to tapatalk.com/directory (http://tapatalk.com/directory) with your id and password, we have revamped the interface slightly to accommodate the new feature. You will notice "Analytics" tab on the middle top, click on it and select the forum you want to view analytic information.
What is the best way to tell my members Tapatalk is enabled on my forum?
We have created a small script that works in both phpBB and vBulletin to detect iPhone access and display a one-time only popup to tell your members of Tapatalk availability - you can add it to your forum header (see instruction at http://www.tapatalk.com/forum/showthread.php?t=318
