Forum owner notification of new server-side version

I was wondering what processes were in place to ensure that forum owners are notified as soon as a new server-side version is available.

I have been running the previous version unaware that 0.9.10 was out until I signed in today.

I think we should get emailed as well as having it posted in the forum. That way those who are busy can get early notification.

I agree, just that we updated it so frequently during this "pre-release" period.

Once this is fully go-live we will setup a periodic update to all forum owners.
