I have a number of users who access my forum using Windows mobile so I was curious if there are any plans on releasing a Windows Mobile version. So far my Android and iPhone users have been thoroughly impressed with the performance over regular browsing and it would be nice to not leave my WinMo users behind.
I see there's already a thread for blackberry which I would also like to offer.
Thanks a bunch for a great app and for the great support.

Are there any plans on a Windows Mobile app? I use a WM smartphone, and it's like suicide for me not to have this genial app on it. It's a shame. Are there any plans? Even if porting over the BlackBerry app, since, what I gather, the two OS's aren't that much different.

Oh.. they are very different.. The team here is really caught up with three platform - I think it will be more likely if the Windows Mobile 7 turns out a good thing.
Alternatively we can look into porting it from the Nokia app. Have you tried the Tapatalk on Nokia yet? It is completely based on web technologies (like a safari web-app on steroid) and potentially can be ported to WinMo in relatively quick manner. :)

that's cause most winmo users are used to it. i remember when i had winmo we had to pay for every thing. haha
iphone users are spoiled brats. annoys the hell out of me when i hear someone cry about a 99 cent app. haha

I'm on no position to rush you guys, but come on! ;) Seriously, I mean, if it truly is done "quickly", I don't see a reason why you shouldn't give it a try. Anything is great for a start. I didn't get the chance to use it on a Nokia, but I will, my brother has 5th edition on his, so I will give the app a try. :) Even though there are no doubts on how good it works.

Please please release a Windows Mobile version ... AFIK most of the work has already been done for the xda-developers application which is a Windows Mobile App "powered by" tapatalk ?? If this is truly the case surely a port would not be that difficult .. there would be no shortage of competent folks on the xda-developers forum willing to assist..
No Windows mobile support is the only thing stopping me putting it on my 40k+ user forum ...

Another voice for Windows Mobile 6.5 support. Windows Mobile 7 scares me with how much the wounded it. :(
Or even the Nokia work around explained would be nice

Please make an app for WM. Many developers have left WM, and this has created an opportunity in a Not Crowded market for developers to get noticed. In the US alone, there is still a large percentage of smartphone users on WM. Windows Mobile/CE has been around long before IPhone or Android. Other than kids, even the people that have Android had Windows Mobile. My point is, if you make an App today for iphone or android, it is lost in a sea of 70-150,000 apps in a marketplace. Now on Windows Mobile, if you make a quality app, it will definitely get noticed ASAP, plus even though the WM may represent a small percent of smartphones, new apps for WM will be loaded on a larger percent of active WM devices since there is less to chose from.
Tapatalk, you are an excellent company! Jump on an opportunity to support/market your current and future customers. Thanks for your time to read my plea.
Chris:)

Hi all
We are currently working hard on creating a tapatalk-compatible Client for the upcoming Windows Phone 7.
We wont do it for WM 6.5 anymore, as this plattform will be outdated next year.
(btw., we are not tapatalk-related)
Release date: We will be read for the WP7 launch.

That's very nice of you, except winmo isn't going to be outdated for a while. Maybe officially, but not for people like me, rom cookers, tweakers, old fashion guys, and people who have legacy programs....
